1. About us

These terms apply to all goods supplied by Indi Roots Wholesale Ltd (Company No. 174830), Unit 4, 257 Northolt Road, Harrow HA2 8HS ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them. They apply to trade customers and to individuals who buy from us.

2. Orders and quotations

A contract is formed when we confirm your order in writing or by message. Quotations are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. We may decline or limit an order where stock is short or a product is unavailable.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. Trade prices may be quoted excluding VAT, which is added where applicable. Payment terms are agreed with each trade customer in writing. Where credit is agreed, invoices are payable by the due date shown and we may suspend supply on overdue accounts.

4. Delivery and collection

5. Product information and allergens

We pass on the ingredient, allergen and best-before information supplied with our products. Packaging may change between batches, so always check the label. If you resell or serve our products you are responsible for your own allergen information to your customers.

6. Food safety and recalls

We keep batch and supplier records so that products can be traced. If a product is recalled we will contact you using the details on your account, and you agree to stop selling the affected goods.

7. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our liability to trade customers is limited to the price of the goods affected.

8. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including supply disruption, transport problems, severe weather or government action.

9. Returns and refunds

Damaged, wrong or short deliveries

Please check your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, incorrect or missing, contact us within 48 hours of delivery or collection at sdevang603@gmail.com or +44 7404 429779, with your order details and a photo where possible. We will replace the item, issue a credit note or refund you, at our choice and as the law requires.

Faulty or unsafe products

If a product is faulty, not as described, out of date on delivery or you believe it is unsafe, stop using it and contact us straight away. We will replace or refund it. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

Change of mind: trade customers

Trade orders are made to meet your business needs and are not covered by the statutory cancellation right. We may accept unopened, in-date, undamaged goods in original packaging back within 7 days of delivery by prior agreement, and may charge a restocking fee. Goods that are special orders cannot be returned.

Change of mind: individual customers

If you buy from us at a distance, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods. Perishable food and sealed items that cannot be returned for hygiene or health reasons once opened are excluded from this right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Eligible goods must be unopened, unused and in original packaging, and return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty.

Perishable goods and short-dated products

We cannot accept returns of perishable goods or products stored incorrectly after delivery. Products sold at a stated reduced price because of short shelf life are not refundable for that reason.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are made to the original payment method, or as a credit note on trade accounts, within 14 days of us agreeing the refund or receiving the goods back.
